Belvia Carter, MD, FACOG

Serves as the CEO of our group, and has been practicing since 1982.   She received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, and performed her residency at the University of Tennessee.  In 1999, she founded Women’s Physician Group of Memphis.

Lanetta Anderson-Brooks, MD, FACOG

Attended Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL, where she majored in both Chemistry and Biology. She was a member of the distinguished Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.   She obtained her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, where she graduated in the top 20% of her class.   Her internship and residency were completed at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.   Dr. Anderson-Brooks is Board-Certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and has been with our practice since 1996.  Outside of the office, she enjoys reading and traveling, and has taken several mission trips to Africa.

Dionne Rouselle, MD

Attended Xavier University in her hometown of New Orleans, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.   She obtained her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and performed her residency through the University of Pittsburgh at Magee Women’s Hospital.   Dr. Rouselle is single with no children, and has been with our practice since 1998.  Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and working jigsaw puzzles.

Deidrea Grandberry, MD, FACOG

Attended Xavier University in New Orleans, LA, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology.   She obtained her medical degree from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in Memphis, and performed her residency at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.   A native of Memphis, she returned home after her residency, practiced for four years, and then joined our group in 2008.  Outside of the office, she enjoys crocheting, reading, and working Sudoku puzzles.

Melvinie Seymore, MD, FACOG

Although the most recent to join Women's Physician Group, Dr. Seymore has cross-covered with the group for almost twenty years.  She has been in private practice since 1987, and attended Wayne State University where she received her Bachelor's Degree and Medical Doctorate as well as her post-doctorate training in obstetrics and gynecology.  She has been board certified since 1989.  Dr. Seymore is married to Peter and they have a blended family of seven sons and daughters and sixteen grandchildren.  Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking, traveling, golf, interior decorating, and fashion.

Seraphine Lambert, CFNP

Attended the Mississippi University for Women, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in 1992.  She received her nurse practitioner training through the University of Tennessee in Memphis, completing her course of study in 1995.   She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the national honor society of nursing.
